It is about Marrakech Imlil Atlas mountains day trip. The departure is around 9 AM in the morning. For 1 hour drive south up the Moulay Brahim Gorges and Asni. Asni is famous by weekly market every Saturday. Afterwards you will get to Imlil (1740m). Sets in the upper level foothills of the Western High Atlas mountains. It is considered as a main trailhead with streams and paths branching out in all directions. Here we shall leave our vehicle to take a welcome glass of mint tea in the village. And meet your local guide prior to set out for some 4km excursion. Towards the south to the Berber village of Aroumd (Aremd) (1843m), passing the hamlets of Ait Souka, Targa, and Imoula.
You will clime mountains up by Western High Atlas. You will enjoy the view of Toubkal, Jbels Aguelzim (3547m), Aksouâl (3847m) and the Adrar Adj (3122m). We shall stop at Aroumd to visit this rural singular village in the Assif Aït Mizane Valley. The village built seemingly house upon house on a large moraine. Overlooking by ancient irrigated terraced fields. The view is surrounded by almond, walnut trees and full of vegetables.We then carry on for another Half an Hour to get to our lunch, wish will be served among a berber family in the village of Achayn. Later you will be back down the other side of the valley back to Imlil and back to Marrakech.
